What patients search
How Miami patients look for a dentist.
Many new patients start with a search: an urgent one (“emergency dentist near me”, “tooth pain”), a planned one (“dental implants”, “Invisalign”, “teeth cleaning”) or an insurance one (“dentist that takes my plan”). Many of them search in Spanish. Each kind needs a different page and a different ad, and the map results matter as much as the ads.
Google Search ads
Ads on the searches that bring high-value patients, like implants, Invisalign and emergencies, sent to a page for that treatment, not your homepage.
Local Services Ads
Where Google offers them in your area, the “Google Verified” listings that can appear at the top of Google Search and on Maps, paid per lead instead of per click. The practice must pass Google’s screening and verification to show with the Google Verified badge; we run that process with you.
Meta Ads
Facebook and Instagram ads for treatments people choose, like whitening, aligners and new-patient offers, written within Meta’s rules for health ads.
Google Business Profile
Services, insurance info, hours, photos and posts kept current, so the practice shows in the map for nearby searches.
Reviews and replies
A steady request to every patient and a reply to every review that discloses no patient information, including details that reveal the reviewer is a patient or what treatment they received.
Spanish and English
Ads, pages and replies in both languages, because many Miami patients search in Spanish.
Rules for dental ads
What dental marketing must respect.
Health is a sensitive category on Google and Meta, and patient privacy is a legal duty. We build campaigns inside these rules from day one.
- Meta does not allow ads that imply something about the viewer’s health or attack their appearance, like “Are your teeth stained?”. Our ads talk about the treatment, not the person.
- On Google, ads for invasive procedures such as implants are a sensitive health category: no remarketing, customer lists or lookalike audiences. Campaigns rely on search intent instead.
- Tracking is set up to keep patient details away from Google and Meta: ad pixels stay off patient-login pages and booking or symptom forms. Any tool that would receive patient information needs a business associate agreement (BAA) or patient authorization first.
- Review replies never disclose patient information, including details that reveal the reviewer is a patient or what treatment they received. HHS’s Office for Civil Rights has settled with a dental practice over exactly this.
Questions
Dental marketing questions, answered.
How much does dental marketing cost in Miami?
At PeakFlint, Google Ads management starts at $1,000 a month, Meta Ads at $900 and local SEO + AEO at $1,300, each plus a one-time setup. Ad spend is separate. We usually recommend starting with Google Ads and the Google Business Profile.
Google Ads or Meta Ads for a dental practice?
Google Ads first for urgent and high-value treatments that people search for. Meta Ads for elective treatments people decide on when they see them, like whitening or aligners. See Google Ads or Meta Ads.
How do you handle tracking and HIPAA?
HHS guidance on online tracking says ad pixels on patient-login pages, or on pages where people book appointments or enter health details, can send protected health information to ad platforms, which requires a business associate agreement (BAA) or patient authorization, and some tracking vendors will not sign one. A 2024 court ruling (AHA v. Becerra) struck down only the part about public pages someone merely visits; the rules for portals and booking forms still apply. We set tracking up to keep patient information away from Google and Meta, and we sign a BAA with your practice before handling any patient data. This is general information, not legal advice: your practice stays responsible for its own HIPAA compliance.
Do you guarantee new patients?
No. Nobody can honestly guarantee patients or rankings. We commit to the work and report booked appointments and cost per booking every week.
Do you work with practices in Broward?
Yes. We take on practices across Miami-Dade and Broward and meet in person or by video.
