Free website check. When you ask for a free website check (on our site or by sending us your website on Instagram), we receive your name, business name, email address and website. We use them to check your public website (speed on phones, tap-to-call and booking buttons, the business information Google reads) and to email you the results. We keep the request so we can follow up on it; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Weekly tip (optional). If you tick the box or reply with your email asking for it, we send you one short marketing tip by email each week. Every email lets you unsubscribe: reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link, and we stop within 10 business days at the latest.
This policy explains what personal information PeakFlint (“we”, “us”) collects through peakflint.com, how we use it and the choices you have. If you have questions, write to hello@peakflint.com.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address and message, plus anything else you choose to share (company, website, monthly media budget), along with the page you sent the form from.
- Booking a call. If you book a call, our scheduling provider, Cal.com, collects the details you enter there and handles them under its own privacy policy. We record that a booking happened (not what you entered) in Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, as described below.
- Emails. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to prepare for and hold any call you book.
- To provide our services if you become a client.
- To keep the website secure and to stop spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use the Meta Pixel to show PeakFlint ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who have visited peakflint.com, which some US state privacy laws treat as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. See “Cookies and analytics” below for how to opt out.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our web host, email provider, scheduling tool and GitHub (where we keep track of free-check requests), and only for that purpose. We also share limited website data with advertising platforms (Meta), as described in “Cookies and analytics”. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
Our free-check pop-up shows once per visitor. To remember that you already saw it, your browser stores a small note (pfx_pop_seen) on your device; it is not a cookie, it is not sent to us and it is not used for advertising.
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use peakflint.com: pages viewed, how visitors arrived (for example from Google, Instagram or an AI assistant), device type and approximate location (city level), and whether the contact form was sent. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies (such as _ga) that last up to two years, and we keep the data for 14 months. We have not turned on Google signals or advertising features, and we never send names, email addresses or message contents to Google Analytics.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set.
You can opt out anywhere with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser.
We also use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., to measure whether visits from our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to an enquiry and to show our ads to people who have visited peakflint.com. It uses a first-party cookie (_fbp) that lasts up to 90 days and tells Meta which pages you viewed and whether you sent the contact form; we never send your name, email address or message. The Meta Pixel is not loaded for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. You can limit how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences (Accounts Center), block cookies in your browser, or write to hello@peakflint.com. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org.
We will update this section before we add any other analytics, advertising or visitor-identification tool.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as the relationship lasts plus any period the law requires. After that we delete or anonymize them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by writing to hello@peakflint.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and enquiries are stored in access-restricted systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes and contact
